Rusty vs. Taal!

This was originally a sketch commission I got from *AstroZerk from waaaay back. I had it like half done for the longest but my brain would suddenly shut down whenever I tried to figure out how to finish coloring this. I couldn't figure out why at first though. xD

The background was colored with a more autumn hue to it at first and it just kept bugging me for some reason. I tried a more summery coloring today and finally I thought "FUUUUU NO WONDER. TOO MUCH BROWNS N ORANGES. WHAT WAS I THINKING?"

So yeah...my mind is at peace with this now. xD;
